Diana used to make good guns, nowadays they buy chinese airguns and put their name on it, shame on them

I caught Tobias on Friday morning early and we were all pretty crispy after four 16 hour days. I was anyway... notice how far I positioned us from the camera and that I had to make up for it by flashing ya pics during the vid? That was an exhaustion mistake on my behalf.
I imagine it's hard interviewing in another language too but he did a good job. Yes, he works there... Tobias has been the sales manager at Diana for a lot of years. If you watch him in other vids he's sharp. We were just pooped.

When did they start doing that? I bought a Diana 34 almost two years ago and it says Made in Germany on it.

It's not uncommon for companies to outsource some of their products. From what I understand they simply can't make the same product for the same price point in Germany. The Skyhawk is a perfect example. The action is made by SPA in China, the stock is made by Minelli in Italy, and the Diana reps ensure QC in China, Germany, or both. Sometimes this is the only way to offer feature rich products at rock bottom prices. I for one appreciate their transparency.
*Note that Diana still makes products in Germany, and its reflected in the price tag.

Can't wait to see how these two shoot! I've been looking at getting a good PCP and one of these two just may fit the bill!
