AEAC Reviews - Process & Authenticity

I have to echo the sentiment I keep reading, I don't doubt your authenticity and honesty in reviews.

Yes, you have sponsors. Does that automatically make your word null and void? I don't think so. I think if someone takes the time to watch and listen to your work, your motivation becomes clear. You flat out love airguns and learning/teaching about them. Which is something I can relate to and, in my opinion, I think most people on this forum do as well.

I also enjoy seeing airguns with a Florida landscape in the background! Makes me want to go out in the back yard and shoot! Keep up the good work and thank you for all the knowledge and experiences you have shared with us!

Hello Steve, I’ve always enjoyed your videos even on the guns I don’t own. I do have a question on the fx maverick 25. I’ve watched this video and studied your charts and set ups. I’ve also looked everywhere I could think of to find an answer to what is zero on the IHS. Several set ups recommend 1/2 or 3/8 of a ccw turn, but from what starting point. Some suggest to back out the adjustment screw to 6mm and start there so I’m some what confused as to where I should start setting up my Mav Sniper. I’d like to shoot 33g pellets around 880 and then be able to dial back the hammer to shoot 25.3 pellets and still keep decent groups.

Thanks in advance to any that can offer suggestions.

Hi. PJ Clarke and I did a tuning guide together not long ago that will answer your questions on the starting point. We talk about it quite a bit. If you still have questions after that, hit me up! Steve

I like and have gotten great information from your videos. I purchased three PCPs in part because of your reviews of them. My only complaint is that your two Atomic reviews were too long... But that's because I've watched each one at least three times!😀🙏. You have set you self apart for having such a high standard. Keep up the good work. Its not a sin to be compensated for your efforts in front of and behind the camera.

Hey Everyone,

Your trust is important to me, and it's occurred to me as of late that I may have some work to do validating aspects of my review process with the audience. Going forward, I'll be looking for opportunities to do a better job of transparently bolstering AEAC process & authenticity throughout my videos.

I began this new campaign today!!! ... with the Kalibrgun I'm currently working through. Without breaking video stream, I made the 50 & 100 yard post-grouping walk down to the target with the primary camera for the eight groups I shot at 50 yards, and the two groups I shot at 100 yards.

My hopes are that new approaches like these added in key areas across AEAC may ease any feelings of doubt among those in audience finding themselves mistrusting of the information I work so hard to self-learn and share.

Also, if I can help with any questions, please feel free to ask me publicly in this thread.

I will respond with transparency.

Best,

Steve

P.S. what you see below is my usual behind the scenes learning & results process to ensure I'm bringing forth reliable information to the community. Huge hours go into testing & learning my way through the information by myself before I ultimately string a video together and share my distilled down conclusive findings... which as most of ya know, normally comes along with 3 groups at 50 yards and 1-2 groups at 100 yds (for PCPs). Always, I share the consistent average of my findings, never just the very best.

All day Friday and all day today learning the Kalibrgun..

Laying down on the job again I see. 😜🤣🤣😂

Anybody interested in tuning their gun? I really suggest that you watch Steve and TJ's video. This isn't just for the FX guns or the Avengers. If you're running a PCP with a regulator that you can adjust, this is for you. After watching the video several times, I decided to do something radical with my highly modified Marauder. I dropped the regulator pressure by 300 psi. Added a lighter hammer spring and I got the same velocity. You might ask why would you do that? Well, the efficiency is very much improved. The noise is much lower and it's no longer pellet fussy at all. FX Hybrids, JSB Heavies, JSB Kings even H&N field and target pellets, NSA slugs all of them shooting MOA at 50 yards. Now it's winter in Minnesota and I've had a couple of other things on my plate so I haven't been able to stretch this out to 100 yd yet, but I think this tune has some real potential.

The point is there is more than one way to get to your goal. Don't give up. More than one expert can be right, at the same time! I know it sounds wierd, but it's true.

Great story Jim. Thanks for sharing. That mrod is probably loving not having that destabilizing waste air anymore, since ya put that gentle custom tune on it. Well done!
