AEAC photo pack & behind the scenes - s510 XS

Hey everybody, here's a few pics I pulled off of Steve's instagram page @hookedonair Despite an unexpected shower or two, Steve managed to get in some 50 yard groups today.

Thanks to you Michael and the others that are making it possible for more people to win in other countries! Nice!! Beautiful stock on that rifle. Heard somewhere that the regulator was a joint project with Huma is that correct??

You're welcome. Whenever possible we try to open up our RDW's to an international demographic, but it's not without its challenges.

Thats the 1st I've heard of a joint project with Huma. I'll see if I can dig up some more details. Regardless, I think 35 shots @ 42 FPE out of a relatively small air tube is pretty darn good. Not to mention how flat the shot string is.

Nope, that's myth. There was no collaboration or consultation with Huma. While the regulator is new in the S510xs, it's all Air Arms. Don't forget, AA has been making regulators for over 30 years in their competition rifles, so they're not new to it. Steve

Thanks Michael for sharing, still learning who's who and who's doing what here, certainly exciting to think there's an option to win all this!

So far I appreciate this site. I really like the reviews Steve does and looking forward to this one. Have used his vids and testing to help direct my recent purchases..

Finding it easy to get hooked on this modern airguning.

Stock is too beautiful for me. I would never take it to the woods for fear of it getting scratched. Pretty sure it would not be backyard friendly?

Love your reviews, especially the FX Dreamline. Obviously l would go with the synthetic stock! Haha

Thanks

It's actually pretty hard - harder than the walnut I'm guessing. My first choice would be the soft touch over wood though... probably the lightest and stickiest. It's not "loud" but is certainly loud enough to hear a ways away, and there's enough power here to get ya in trouble in the back yard for sure.
