AEA AEA Standard Custom issue

I have a highly Modified AEA Bolt action it's never given me any trouble tonight I took aim at a rat and i hear this god awfull noise of air trying to escape through the breach past the pellet probe I pulled the bolt back and the tube emptied so i refilled it cocked it pulled the trigger and the same thing happened can anyone point me in the right direction. You got yourself a broken valve pin. You can buy replacements.

Yep, broken valve pin. The Achilles heel of the AEAs. You can buy reinforced, upgraded ones on ebay. Pretty easy to replace. Central Valley Airgunners has a video on youtube on how to replace it. I’ve done it twice with my HP carbine.

Agreed otherwise, if this is anything like mine, you’re going to go through a handful of these things. I don’t see why they didn’t build them with some suitable material

+1 I would save yourself from headache and get the 'enhanced' one. The stock replacement will only fail in due time.

45$ enhanced valve pin for aea.

I would make this myself for 10$ or less in under an hour personally, but that's just me!

Thanks to all who chimed in I bought a few valve pins from The Pellet Shop super fast shipping changed it out this morning it’s running great again

The valve pins are out of stock at The pellet Shop and anywhere else I looked.
Magazines for AEA HP/SF are also out of stock.

The AEA HP has been discontinued for 1 year in favor of the AEA SF.
It seems that I need to stock up on spare parts for my AEA HP SS if I want to shoot it for a few years.
