Have any of you tried the AEA Slugs? I am most interested in the .25 cal 30.2gr for my Wildcat MK2. The design, if the label is indicative of the actual slug, has me really intirgued with the driving bands that may actually reduce friction in the bore.

They shot ok in my 600mm slug liner but I think they're geared more towards the pellet liner. Good uniform design and very clean slugs! My King loves Varmint knockers in 34 grain so i never took the time to really tune for the AEA.

They are okay, i tried one tin first a few weeks ago, then ordered more. I had the 49.2 gr shooting @ 940-960fps yesterday in my rti mora .25 cal. I also shoot the 52 gr in my karma eq 30 cal @ 920fps. They are affordable and shoot decent would be my opinion. I do better with altoros, but they are double the cost. AEA are worth a try.

Just went through a tin of the .25 30.2 trying to find a tune. Given i was using a 500mm pellet liner, meh. I suspect a cz barrel or another liner might do better. Best results i could get came at 890 and that's not going to get me to adopt them. I'll give them another try when my 700 gets in.
