I used this to mount a Tanto on my HP SS Pistol. The Tanto is pretty close to the diameter of the shroud.

You know if the varmint it that loud? It sounds quiet on youtube without a suppresor but I dont know thats video audio.

I'm not sure about a Varmint but the Pistol was quite loud, in my opinion. I'm not comfortable doing any backyard shooting without a moderator on it.

Well i got hp varmint comin my way its up to 100 fpe .25 cal should be loud. Will get a donny though not sure which one.

It may not look it. But this is a aea .25 varmint. Slightly under 2lb trigger. 4500psi carbon tank, not reg yet. The whole gun camo taped wrapped to stiffen it up. That dumb folding stock ruins accuracy. I also have a REAL 4-18X50 Discovery scope. Excellent glass! Donny FL Sumo suppressor. Now for the good part @3500psi I'm at 108fpe just over 1150 fps. 100 yards 8 shot 1.35" group. Keep Tinkering guys. There's gold here. I've even been able to get mostly get rid of that annoying hammer ping

I dont know what kind of suppresor I should run 108 fpe sounds like it needs bit bigger than a tonto to be effective. Im thinking tatsu to keep it short but I dont know I want it silent so sumo might be the right one. I have a sumo in 22 25 but not in 25 30.
