AEA HP SS Rigid Toolbox Gun Case

I couldn't find a hard gun case that fit my pistol, so I gutted a $29 Rigid toolbox from Home Depot, used the foam that came in the shipping box, and viola!

 That’s a good idea. I’ve been having a hard time finding cases for my longer barrel pistols also. Even some of the standard barrel ones.I don’t know why most of the cases you see are for pistols that are on the smaller side.

On Amazon look for a PDW case which is thicker and designed for guns with folding stock. Found one what fits Dreamline compact or 2 pistols for 45 bucks to my door.

I think that would work fine for me. I could probably actually fit two pistols in there. I wouldn’t need to use those little hold down straps. At first I was Looking for Zip up cases, and couldn’t even find one that my Smith and Wesson 78G or my Daisy 717 would fit in. But I have a PP 700 also and haven’t actually measured it yet. But with that case I think I could fit at least two of my pistols in it .
