AEA HP SS 12ftlb tune?

Have any of you AEA HP SS Pistol or any of the other aea semi owners tuned them down around 12ftlb? I have other high end stuff for field target but am interested in doing one of the HP SS as a lower power plinker.

If so how does it shoot at this lower power? Would love to set it up for the cheap Crosman hollow point premiers.

I wonder what the power adjuster is on low? Any idea?

I have a 25 carbine. You can turn the knob to 3 or 9 oclock and that is as low as you can set it. I doubt it will go down to 12 ft lb.

maybe invest in a china special Crony @ about $20 or so USD ? they work great and close enough for our type of tuning . Mine is the same reading as my Caldwell .

I have the AEA HP SS Pistol in .22 running JSB Hades 15.89gr and with it set at low it has a problem now and then moving the action to load the next round. turning it into a bolt action So looking for a longer barrel & shroud, cutting the spring and moving up to the 350cc tube regulated.

Pardon ignorance, but what's the reason for powering down, improve accuracy and additional air efficiency?

It won't cycle as semiauto if you turn down the power wheel too much. So most likely, no, unless you want to use it like a bolt action.
