i have another 6 or 7 slugs to test next weekend hopefully. just doing this to offer up some information that may or may not be readily available.
it's notable that the pro slugs lose much more energy than the round nose Mr. Hollowpoint 170. Mr. H's seem to retain alot of energy at 50 yds.

copied and pasted text from another post i had. formatting seems different here. first column is velocity at muzzle, then 50 yds, then FPE, then ballistic coefficient, then FPE at 50 yds

How's your accuracy? I have the .510 with .22" barrel and a 700cc cf bottle. I have the 500cc tank and the regulator. The best combo is the 700cc cf. My accuracy is good out to about 35 yards. Past that it's unpredictable. I really wanted to hunt with it out to at least 70yards. I'm not comfortable enough to take a shot past 35 to 40 yards. I've been thinking about getting the .457 22" barrel kit for it.
Thanks,
Brian

I only have a 1x5 scope on mine and so far have only shot out to 40 yards. I have not had the gun very long. At 40 yards I shoot a 1 inch group with the 220 griffins but I would like to try some lighter slugs. I believe it would do better with 200gr. Next time I will try it at 50 yards. 70 yards is the max I can do safely on my little range. I do believe it will be a good deer gun when I get a chance to find the right slugs and possibly a better scope. I have 3 airguns that I have just gotten recently and I am trying to dial them all in and it has me stretched a bit thin but I will get there. I had lost most of my sight from my right eye years ago so I had stopped shooting for 3-4 years and gave all my guns and hunting clothing etc. to our boys because I didn't think I would be able to shoot again. I have just started to regain the sight in that eye about 5 months ago. It is not real good yet but I can use a scope now so I desided to take up airguning for fun but now I find myself needed/wanting everything all at once and I have to set priorities to make some of it happen. It would have been much easier if I had a chance to dial in each gun 1 at a time with some space between them rather than 3 at once but I am not in a rush and having a ball being able to shoot again. I have hopes of being able to start hunting again pretty soon again as well.
