Just picked up 2 AEA HP CARBINE SEMI AUTO 1 in .25 and 1 .30. Both have same problem with fill probe popping out when try to fill with my compressor. Have tried 2 different probes. Any idea of what this could be caused from??

I had the same problem and then I made sure that I inserted the probe with the two holes in it aligning up with the air tank (horizontal I guess you would say) it seems to have worked.

There's a trick to it. For some reason it's important to insert the probe first, and then attach the hose from the fill source to the probe. And do not leave the probe inserted permanently as some idiots on YouTube have suggested.
I like to hold the probe in with my fingers after starting the compressor (actually it's the female foster on the hose I'm holding), until everything has made a good seal and begins to fill as well. I've never had it pop out if I simply do this.
Also as Jimborg says make sure the hose isn't pulling the probe up/down/left/right. You want everything going in nice and straight so the o-rings form a good seal.

it gets annoying lol. on one of mine I have to hold the probe in hard till the pressure comes up a bit then it seats the o rings, or that's what it sounds like. one day I will investigate this since I have 2 probes, or I'll try making a better one.

One has to wonder what is so hard about using a Foster fitting that so many makers avoid it.
Simple matter of tapping a threaded hole into the air chamber instead of the fill cover and the female part of the probe.
Or am I missing something. I had one gun with a probe. not a big deal but a Foster is som much simpler.

The newest AEAs have a probe that screws in so basically acts as a male foster, and you can leave it in all the time if you want.
