AEA Element unregulated: how many consistant shots per fill?

Hey. I was looking at buying a pre-owned, unregulated AEA Element. I was wondering if anyone who owns one had an estimate of how many good shots per fill it got, or had any issues with that gun that I should know of.

Any modern small bore, .177-.25 can be tuned to get at least 10-20 power shots & probably 30-40 with max 40fps spread, 1st to last.

These AEA are decent but not Cricket, Marauder, Rekord grade triggers or customer service, parts availability. I'd say Marauder Crosman service sets the bar for all the others. Nobody else is going to be sending parts out with no questions asked except serial # to see if within warranty.

Hmm. Interesting. I actually have a .22 Marauder, which I wanted to sell to fund this purchase. I think I will keep looking, though. The Marauder is great. Low cost for a PCP, accurate, quiet, etc. Only issue is how cumbersome it is for carrying around and hunting squirrels and rabbits, which is my main use. Thank you for the answer.

Save yourself the hassle and keep your marauder. The AEA element is neat and Interesting but won’t last. It has some major design flaws main ones being incorrect use of carbon material at friction surfaces, zero power adjustment, no moderator attachment thread and weird secondary cocking lever that can hit your hand if you aren’t carful. Great concept with tons of potential but design execution is poor.

You can add the regulated tube. Only time will tell if that bolt slot will wear.....

Funny enough, the Guys at DonnyFL say that the A7 Marauder adapter will fit the Element. I have shot mine exactly 3 times, but I am enjoying it so far.

If you want a light wood walking squirrel killer then maybe get their SS “pistol” carbine. Semi auto, light, compact and surprisingly accurate with lots power.
