AEA Challenger bullpup

so, i finally made time with my ebay chrony that reads in meters. testing the adjustment screw of this bullpup. not so sure how linear the adjustments are.

challenger bullpup .25 with crosman 27.8 starting at 3500 psi; i am calling full power 12:00, first string. 6:00 supposedly 50% power 2nd string.. 9:00 being 25% for third string.

it seems like between 50-25 is possibly where any usable adjustment in power lives, in tiny increments???

hope these are readable. and if any pcp gurus are reading, i would appreciate a brief explanation of what this gun is doing and what adjustments might be doable to flatten out the curve.

(still havent been able to take it outside. apartment living. 20 ft range)

Thats about what I expected to see. This rifle isnt regulated so the spread can get pretty extreme if they didnt balance things out. Like my Hatsan Carnivore isnt regulated but they did such a fine job choking down the port that it shoots very regulated. You should look into a huma regulator. I was planning on taking measurements and looking for one to go into mine hoping that this would help tighten up the extreme spread but find that happy pressure to still get maximum power and be able to use the external to adjust for more shot count.

Is there a reason why you only filled to 3500 psi vs the max 3600 psi they say it can be filled too?

Ok, I was just curios why. Its really good to see that your speeds are in the area that they should be according to the manufacture. You are using a little heavier pellet then what they show the max speeds with and your good shot count is right there also. How was the shot groups? Did you notice the pellets being less accurate as the shots progressed through?

I am dyeing cause today is the day my Challenger will show up.

There is a universal Huma regulator which can be custom fit for this rifle. I am really thinking about finding the sweet spot for the rifle and have the regulator installed but I want to wait and see @Albee disassembly and get the right dimensions for the tube inside diameter and take a look at internal valve assembly to determine if the regulator will be a good option

So far this is what I have come up with for the power adjustment is. Looks like its just a quarter of the dial then it just repeats. Im going to be going out and shooting a few hundred rounds this weekend to see if I can verify this with recording some shot strings and the fps for each with some 14.3gr and 18.5gr pellets.

Right on! make sure to check all the screws under the stock

Ive been checking them before shooting and after. So far non have loosened up. Sunday will be the test for sure with shooting so many through in a single session.

Bin is the guy listed on eBay as aeausa.

Zach is on eBay as aeaairgunus and all his pics have the logo on them.

Bin also sells on gunbroker.com sometimes. As his eBay says best offer, I can confirm he can really deal. My bullpup was an awesome discount, which I am not in a position to promise he can always do. I think I was one of the first sales he had for the Challenger, so motivated to get it out there? I did try to talk him into free shipping, he countered with offering a free third magazine. Sadly he did not follow thru on delivering the extra mag. Even after a few eBay msgs reminding him.

Zach had some crazy low prices on his site for a brief sale. I didn't have the cash at the time, so I have not purchased from him. Otherwise, I don't know if he will bargain.

They both do YouTube. I have got to say that Element has my attention for an accurate, enough power, decent price, light, back packer. ( Can't touch the Leshy. Course not meant to)
