AEA Challenger .30

Well guys,

AEA has another winner on their hands!

This is the Challenger bullpup in .30

The gun is a tiny bit heavy, but feels well balanced, and very comfortable to shoot. Accuracy has passed my sniff test, with pouring 9 pellets through the same hole @ 50 yards (ALL of my accuracy test start at 50). I used both 44 JSB and 50 gr FX. Power? (the thing that matters to me most), is off the hook for this class and caliber! roughly, it averages 94 FPE with the 50 gr, over 18 shots (my high was 101.25) This was from a 3600 PSI fill. As our "toys" continue to evolve in this hobby, I urge you to check this one out! Oh...did I mention that this guy is under 600 bucks!

Thanks for posting!

Accuracy looks good & the power where you’d want a .30 cal. Does the trigger seem okay- under 2 lbs and predictable feel? I guess your groups already nod to the ‘yes’:). We’re your 18ish shot count all useable in terms of same poi etc? I’m quite interested in the challenger .30 but in standard rifle form. I read the company does 4 barrel grades for accuracy. Did you choose (or can you if not) your own barrel. None the less your accuracy is great if that’s the standard gun.

Any other info as you shoot it more is much appreciated. Till then “tehadesh”! A Hebrew idiom meaning enjoy the newness:). Thanks again for posting on a not so well known gun:)

Oh Man...You will be able to!!! Watch and see.......even when I had the twitters (a LOT of awesome groups are ruined by the SHOOTER LOL), the groups were still tight!

Yonyb.....I don't have a tool to measure the trigger pull, but I would venture to guess that it's more that 2 lbs, but under 4....dont know how much that helps....anyway, the break is nice and crisp, and the blade is really comfortable.....other than that, the gun is stock...havent even thought about a barrel swap....no need to with this pup...

Awesome to see another challenger in a happy home. This line is a inexpensive line and they deliver serious power. Ive been playing with my .22 challenger and have been amazed. Its not pellet picky and so far doesnt seem to be slug picky either. Ive shot 22gr slugs as fast as 1200fps they are more accurate at around 970-1000fps and 32gr slugs at full 990fps full power very accurate. I have a few more different types of slugs to test but so far for a rifle that cost me $515 to get to my door its impressive.
