My Stoeger Bullshark in 22 is not pellet picky. I shot a 194 in the 30 yard challenge with it using Crosman 14.3 grain domed pellets. I shot a 198 with JSB 18.1s. I've shot at least a 195 with FX 18.1s. But just to try something new I ordered a small tin of AEA 18.3s earlier this month and I have been shooting them. My scores were 197, 196, 200 (first this year), 195, 194. Then I cleaned the barrel, it was very dirty, and then shot two 199s (one a masters target), I was hoping for another 200 but I am very happy with these results. So I bought two more big tins and they arrived today. Unfortunately my best target scope is now refusing to hold zero but the initial 3 shot group, while to a different point of impact, was nice and small. Early attempts at another target were going fine until they weren't. I will probably be sending the scope back to Athlon but they replaced the last one without issue and pretty quickly and the replacement had been working very well. But the thread is about these pellets and I am very pleased with them. I don't think I've shot 7 groups in a row 194 or better with any pellet or gun before. But they don't really weigh 18.3 grains according to my scale. I weighed more than 10 from two different tins and they are consistently 18.1 grains. Not an issue, just an observation.
I also bought a tin of the 21.9 grain for my P35-22 that likes H&N 21.14 grain, preferably Match. The scope on that gun fogged up when I took it outside and it's starting to get dark so I quit after 4 shots. Chronograph decided it needs charged too. The first shot was a little low and the next three went into a nice small group at about the elevation of the H&N but a little left. Maybe 2-3 clicks. The similar POI is nice but the important thing is they seem to want to shoot. Hopefully I will get a chance to test them tomorrow.
I also want to try the 18.3s in my Caiman X and probably the P35-22 too. If you have not tried AEA pellets I would. The little tins of 250 are only about $10.
