I recently got a beeman hw97 from pa.
I can see me with a hw 30 and a 50.
i enjoy my springer a lot.
My local range I shoot the 50 yd,with being lucky getting the 25 yd.
The range officer told me I should check out the air gun range in back of where I check in.
Not only is it cheaper,much quieter,no range officers ,a lot of targets at a lot of distances a fifty and a one hundred yd range.
I can see me inviting buddies ,their sons ,and make it a social event.
There is a sports authority closing a store and they have package Rugers, a gun Shockley endorses and a Umeriex.
I know it is a knock off but do you think it worth it for a second gun that will be used more or less on occasion .
O r just wait and go for the $425 for a hw30 with scope.
I know the difference between a good gun but a lot of the people shooting it will not or not care
I see the time at this range as tailgating event with a ton of food and good coffee(no one drinks any more,but we sure can cook and eat!)
So I see the need for more guns
Does any one have any experience getting a air rifle in a big box store?
