Hi all.
I am a newbie in air pistols and glad to join your community. Today I received my Daisy 717, a vintage piece as I understand. Haven’t shot it yet as I am still in the flat with the family. I noticed immediately after opening the box that the bolt handle is very stiff. As it is made of plastic I was worried I might break it. By wiggling a bit, I can manage to pull it back in order to load the pellet and close it again. But the movement is not smooth by any means. So please advise me guys: shall I lubricate the plastic body of the bolt handle along the thin backward movement slot? If yes, what shall I use, silicon oil or maybe pellgun oil? or else?
thanx in advance,
Vasilis
