Advice on DIANA Bipod for RWS 54?

I like being able to lean into the rifle a little using a bipod (at least for my PCP), and I'm entertaining the idea of a bipod for my RWS 54. There is no existing rail that comes with the 54, and I see DIANA makes one specifically for side lever rifles like the 54. It looks like it attaches to the sling mount? Is this a credible bipod for a powerful springer considering the 54's integrated recoil system?

That bipod was designed to go with the front stock screw. Don’t use it that way as that screw is a factor in the sled tuning. You can use it or any bipod like Harris’s that attaches to the sling stud. If I did it over again I would not get the Diana. The Harris is a better product.

Thanks, Mitch. I was not aware exactly where it attached, but yes that seems like a poor design by DIANA.
