I have tested my FX radar unit against my Sky screen and the radar reads 9 fps faster then the sky screen. I graphed the result and the two graphs mimic each other shot for shot just the radar is 9 fps faster. The ES and SD are the same. The radar unit has a feature that is supposed to allow you to calibrate, within plus or minus 2 percent, but I can't make it work. Anyone have this issue and is there a trick to calibrate it?

I been thinking about doing the same thing with my FX radar and Caldwell Pro. Don't know how to calibrate FX

Not trying to be sarcastic, but how do you know it is the FX Chronograph that needs the adjusting and not the other chrono?

You are probably looking at less than a percent deviation, plus it is relative to your comparisons. I.e., my chrony might be different from yours, but as long as I use it just for my comparisons it’s fine. I’d say don’t worry about it
