Adjusted scope rings?

Sportsmatch adjustable mounts are all I have used for many years with no issues. I use them with big heavy scopes on my R1 and my TX. No matter what mount you choose you need to follow proper proceedures!!! Degreasing all surfaces, proper screw tightening etc. I dont even use the stop pins but my springerscare well tuned with smooth firing cycles even at max power output. You wanting the scope optically centered is an excellent plan, highly recomended by all scope mfgrs. I have done the same for years, with great sucess.

I've have a Sportsmatch 1 piece adjustable scope mount that was on a 17 fpe Diana 34 with thousands of rounds on it without moving. I then put it on my old Diana 38 .22 that's got SEVERE barrel droop. I had to adjust the mount to compensate and its still holding true. The only draw back is that it is a bit tall, but I don't find it a problem. Here it is pictured mounted on a Diana 36 with a 4-12×40 UTG.
