adjustable scope rings

Alex,
I like the Sportsmatch for their precision but, they are expensive and just a bit complicated (comparatively).
I recently maxed out my Sportsmatch adj. rings recently, and had to switch to my FX adjustable rings in order to get more range.
The added range of adjustability and lower price might make the FX or Eagle Vision a good choice, depending on your expected range and budget.
The Eagle Vision rings have a picatinny rail on the top. So, if you intend to add an extra accessory, they'd be the way to go.
All 3 work well. There are other brands out there but, those are the ones I've personally tried.

Hey Tom I have a question for you. I would like to get the adjustable rings also. Say my gun is sighted in perfectly... If i adjust the rings so i can shoot further....say at a 2 dollar powder filled golfball at long distance... will my gun still be sighted in when i return it to the original flat location? I don't want to keep losing my original zero.

If mounted correctly yes you should be able to return to your stock zero, I just bought a set of FX no limit rings for dovetail that I'll be putting on a 500 Royale next week and that is going to be one of the 1st things I check out, I'm going to zero in at 25 yards and shoot out to 109 yards using the no limit rings to zero in the 109 yard target then I'm going to put the rings back to stock position and see if it's still holding zero, I'll be using a Hawke Vantage SF 4-16-44 scope.

"crittahitta"Hey Imold can you please let me know if the rings work good for you? I want them but if I have to keep sighting in I will pass.
I'll let you know, it looks like it will be late Thursday,UPS shows up around 1 pm then I'll get the scope mounted and out to my range and zero it in and test out the rings...so Thursday evening I'll have a answer.....Maybe someone will reply before then.
