ACCU-TAC bipods...........Damn!

I kind of went from the cellar to the penthouse with this upgrade. i could not wrap my head around paying north of a hundred buck for a vertical only bipod. no offense to harris. so i thought , screw it . let's see if these accu-tacs are worth all the bluster. so when i got one and took it out of the box , looked it over. thought , is it worth 250 bucks more than my UTG? answer - YES! this is a serious piece of craftsmanship. only seemed better after i got it mounted to gun. as i see it , life time purchase for enhanced shooting pleasure.

hell no! if i thought it was a luxury i would state it. this is not for everyone. does one need it to succeed , no , but as i stated , you do get something for your money.

I got the same model too and it is built like a tank and functions great. Just remember to loctite those threaded rubber feet on or use some teflon tape on those threads or they will work their way off. Bill

They are truly awesome bipods, I bought one used a while back (FC) from @Michael and its so sturdy its almost like cheating. Makes a big difference on benchrest with my .30 FX Bobcat Mk2. The one I bought does not have cant, but I did notice that with the non cant models, the gun sits lower and has a lower CG compared to the newer cant models. Super heavy duty, super sturdy. The only thing I don't like about it is the QD doesn't release all the way, so you must partially release it, then screw the small knob on the other side to fully release it from your pic rail. Same for installing it... So it IS QD, but its not "quick".
