Absolute failure in this White tailed deer hunt.

We are planning to arrive tomorrow in the afternoon to the ranch in which we are going to hunt. The ranch is located in the mountains a little bit south west of the Amistad Dam.

The tools in this hunt are the 30-06 and the Wolverine HP non HR in .30 Cal. AI am planning to use the Wolverine as much as possible.

I will be reporting results.

This ranch is FAR AWAY !!!!

We rezeroed the rifles and went to refill two feeders.

My Land Cruiser only was able to climb with absolutely all the tricks, including the blocking of the two (diferenciales in Spanish). All the power of the 4X4.

The picture of the camera at the feeder shows that this black bear was huge !!!

In Mexico you may not hunt bears since 40 years ago. Now there are MANY bears in Coahuila, MANY !!!

This is not going to be easy …..,,

We did not saw a deer in the morning. We went to the other side of the ranch. Time to get from the ranch to the feeders is absolutely not practical.

In the afternoon we will climb again to the zone of the feeder on which the bear was eating.

Clearly this is not a ranch in which the hunt frequently. Feeders do not have tracks of deer.
