The barrel is the stoutest freakin thing I've ever seen. I removed it twice while tuning and POI was spot on when re-installed.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for!

Yes, I got this morning. I chose overnight shipping, thinking there would be handling time, but I'm glad they got it to me quickly (patience isn't my strong suit lol).

The barrel tensioning system was one of the major selling points for me. I stripped my rifle down some today to inspect the bore, adjust the reg, and to get general familiarization. I am extremely please with the barrel system overall. It's secured phenomenally inside of the multi-piece shroud, and it's finely threaded to the receiver. I let the photos speak for themselves:

No flimsy BB gun-ish barrel attachment system here, thank God! Which has been a major gripe with many of my AG's over the years. I'm glad Tom built these AAA's more like a good quality firearm than the way some other PCP's are made.

Maybe it’s been said? But is the .30 a TJ barrel or LW? and groove and twist? I have a .22hp on order and believe it is a LW-POLY? Not the TJ?

HPS is a proprietary TJ of our design. 4 groove 1:18.

I reconfigured it to be portable for hunting. Minus the 7-35, just running that in the short term for testing ammo and it's capabilities.

It's funny though, you'd think this EVOL is longer than it really is, but when I remove the moderator it is small enough to fit in a small case that I got a while back from Brian for the Lelya:

@slayer (or anyone else that knows) - what is the max operating set point for the regulator (in factory config, I haven't re-stacked the Bellevilles)? I might be inclined to turn it up to 3000 PSI for coyote hunting, if it's cool to run it up there.

There is still some headroom at 3k. Should not need to got that far though. If you wanted heavy slugs 2400-2500 will do it.

Hey Tom - I set the reg on my Mini down a bit but it was a little hit or miss monitoring the gauge when I filled it. I think it was about 90 degrees of turn to drop 20 bar on mine. Is there any sort of standard on the reg for adjusting. Like every 45 degrees is so many bar?

@mtnghost (Scott, correct? or is that motorhead?) - isn't that Law Tactical adapter one heck of a piece of equipment? Have you ever tried on an AR? I don't have any - but it seems super cool for a PB.

About 65psi (4-5 bar) per hour of rotation.

I'd highly recommend it (gen3). Wanted to get a 3rd in FDE, but it's hard finding certain AR parts right now. Motorhead = Scott
