AAA Evol 22 HPS info

I have the standard length one and it's only intended to be 45 to 46 ft lb. It is VERY accurate but gives up a little to my Red Wolf in ability to drive the 25.4s fast enough. Tom does an EXCELLENT job of tuning and is pretty particular about the barrels. It would be an honest surprise if it didn't shoot extremely well. If you plan to engage longer targets mostly, the longer one would be more appropriate. I really didn't see mine as a bench rifle or trying to tag game out at extreme distance. Wanted the lighter weight and more compact handling. Also wanted to own one of the most well designed and made rifles, while it was available. A friend shot the 30 Long for a while and it was superior to mine at 100 and beyond and another has a 30 Long but we haven't compared carefully yet.

I favor 22s as I've mentioned in other posts so would choose a 22, myself. Don't think you could go wrong with either.
