AA TX200 or HW97KT?

I have had 2 tx200 mkIII rifles with walnut stocks. They are amazing rifles. Can not comment on the HW97k, never had one of them. My tx200's have been tack drivers and are a joy to shoot. Many many squirrels have been taken with my 200's.

That's why I love my springers, no pumps, hoses, tanks or compressors needed.

Absolutely agree with the above 2 posts-simple shooting at it's best. I have an HW97 but my Walther rifles are the ones I reach for. I do plan to get a TX200 at some point.

@Odoyle Wouldn't the Fortitude with its shrouded barrel and being regulated be better than a Maximus with a moderator added? I think its only a 2000 psi airgun also. I had been looking at the Gen2 Fortitude, with the idea of getting a Walmart pump for it.

Sorry, I just saw the fortitude is 3000psi. Would it be that much harder to pump?

The Fortitude is a 3000psi gun. I own one on each caliber and shoot my Maximus more IDK why it's more accurate that's all past 40 yards. In 22 the Maximus has more power than the 22 Fortitude too. Even my 177 Maximus outshoots my 177 Fortitude

You may have better luck but I'm grabbing the more accurate gun first.

Oh my Walther LGV Competition Ultras don't even go there they are in another league of their own can't compare the HW97 or TX200 to the LGV there's no comparison no matter the Walther is a breakbarel it will outshot the HW97 and TX200 silly.

If weight is a consideration, get a HW95/Beeman R9. It has essentially the same powerplant as the HW97. Great accuracy too.

I pretty much will align with the comments from Thumper and DualMag. 

The LH TX is not really a true, mirror-image LH. Yes, the port is altered 

to left, but the ABT release remains on the right side of the action. It's 

more awkward to use. The 77-97 has the ambi access to the breech, and

of course, no ABT release. The plus to the TX would likely be the 'tuned' 

feeling OOtB, and the trigger reach set-back to the rear. I sent my 77 to 

MotorHead for tuning, and include a Rowan full-setback trigger for him to 

install. Schweeeeeeet.
