Air Arms AA S510 AIR LEAK

I do have a hone, but the cylinder should be linished in the process before assembly.
Two HW100, Two RTI P3, One Daystate………..this is the only system with two vent holes in the HPA cylinder that I know of.

Question:
The gauge on this rifle appears to be connected to the plennum, down stream from the Regulator.
If this is correct, why does it read cylinder pressure?

The two hole thing is to replace the old way AA designed the fail safe feature. Put too much air in the old tubes and the tube's end would flare out an release the pressure. You had to replace the tube after that...

The new system just kills an oring.

There is a passage that allows cylinder air to bypass the reg to reach the gauge.

well, all sorted now, on inspection found regulator seal to have been subjected to smearing through possible air friction/heat combo.
purchased new reg and dropped in, all good and working, not sure if its worth repairing the old one as a spare or not.

Yeah, OK Waze will be the old regulator. You never know you might need it and it’s always nice to have it. You’ll learn how to replace those tiny little seals. Yes, my two cents.
