AA S410 altaros reg settings

Hello AGN,

I am installing a altaros regulator in my s410 and was wondering what the best bar setting would be to shoot at 20 ft.lbs.I have lighter hammer springs to try but I do not have the adjustable power knob. The regulator came set at 135 bar. Any help would be appreciated.

.22 caliber? I would think 110-120 bars. 110 bar if you shoot at around 800fps max.. But I had an Altaros back in 2012 when they first started selling for the SS410 Classic. Hope I remember right.

Thank you, by any chance do you remember the brass plug that goes over the spring at the back of the valve? There is a how to video on youtube for the s400 and it shows it backed out 790mm which I believe will change the force needed to open the valve am I correct?

I had their very early version of the regulator, it came with a couple of black marks on two copper tubes inserted into each other. You twist one of the copper tubes to change the pressure setting. I remember that I had to takeoff the air tube To adjust, refill, and test. Repeat. 


you could try to reach out to Altaros directly. Or the guy in Kuwait (Sniperqty) with his own YouTube channel. He used to buy Altaros before anyone else did. Sorry I wasn’t more help.

I think I will try posting later tonight and see if anyone knows. I tried altros and I think something was lost in the translation.
