AA 400 Carbine

Kind of an out dated rifle now a days I suppose. But wondering if anyone still owns/shoots there's. I bought mine in 06 my first pcp. I gotta admit I have neglected it over the past few years...new rifles! But today I got it out, aired it up and we'll just plain forotten how well this little single shot bolt action carbine shot! Now it's setting in my go-to spot.

I know what you mean!

I have an older bolt action S410 and I just actually got it out today...lol

I think about selling it to upgrade with the latest and greatest ( saying that I just bought a Taipan Veteran .22 ) but every time I shoot it I just cant make myself sell it !

Now I'm thinking on a regulator for it and using it for light duty pesting because it just loves 15.9 JSBs at about 920fps. Freaking laser actually ! And the gun just looks good !

I still use a S410 carbine at 12 fpe. I love the S410 platform. I, in fact, like the S 410 bolt action version because I am find manipulating a traditional bolt much quicker than swinging out a sidelever and closing it. So I have two S410s! The carbine has exceptional balance for fast offhand shooting and like all AA pcps I have ever shot, shoot really tiny groups.

I will make a bold claim and state that as a general purpose pcp, the AA S410/ 510 series is the best ever built. They are extremely reliable-- never had one that failed-- have excellent triggers and outstanding accuracy. Have you noticed how no one ever posts they have an issue with an S 410/ 510 series rifle? For low to medium powered pcps, Air Arms builds the most reliable, gimmick free, out of the box superb shooting airguns.

James from Michigan,

Thats exactly why I got it out today. I was thinking I don't shoot it much I might as well sell it. ( got my eye on thet streamline in 25) but after shooting it I just can't! As functor stated above. Very reliable and shoots straight!
