My Skyhawks came with a factory shroud but the QC was really bad, so over the years I have used various solutions for noise control, this is the latest.
I assembled this from Snowpeak, Crosman, Donnyfl items, and some of my own manufacture this last week. I started with the lightest aluminum tube I could find which was a seamed .95 inch Id. Then I made a rear barrel support from thick walled, slightly undersized I’d for my Skyhawks barrel and custom fitted it with grinding compound. For a airstripper I used the OEM Snowpeah stripper which is attached to the outer tube with a 8-32 screw. The baffles are from PA, a baffle system that member Centercut turned us onto a few months ago and are intended for Crosman break barrels, covered in 25mm od x 23mm I’d, cf tube which was a light press fit inside the tune. I used a Donnyfl talon P end cap to cap it all off. I then covered it with a shrink wrap designed for fishing pole handles.
The Skyhawks is an inside shooter doing 460 fps with Crosman 14 grain hp, so it is very easy to quiet down.
Although it is very quiet on it’s own, adding the Tanto takes it to the extreme.
This would also work on a p-15, p-35 and the new Bullshark.
