My hatsan striker 1000s got 2 broken scopes on his black list, anyone know about a heavy duty scope that can resist a hard recoil?

Have you tried the Hawke scopes ? Also, the Bushnell line of scopes, the Trophies I think, are also air gun rated. For a mount base, I suggest the Air Force adjustable Pict. base. It is reasonably cheap and has 1\4 in screws that secure the clamp. I use these a lot and have never had them slip.

Hey Jamie, well I bought a leapers mount to prevent the scope from moving, but it literally has broke 2 of my scopes, the first one got the cross hairs moving all over and the second one broke in two pieces. I have heard about those hawke but i just want to make sure they will resist that recoil, thanks

Lots of people swear buy a one piece mount for there springers as well. It can help to remove stress between the rings.

I use this on my springers. It not only allows you to use Weaver rings, but has ten degrees of droop compensation. It has two stop screws, the rearmost one I used with my Striker Edge, after grinding on the rear 1/4 inch of the dovetail (on the mount, not the air tube). I had to grind on it a bit to allow the mount to sit far enough to the rear to use the scope stop bolt in one of the screw holes for the factory scope stop, which I removed. It has four pretty stout 6 mm bolts to hold it on, and was never a problem on my Striker. I mounted a UTG SWAT scope which was plenty tough, and handled the recoil like a champ.
