Hi y’all
The fam came up to visit today and all I could think about was how it’s been the warmest day we’ve had in a while and how much I’d love to go out and try some longer shots at the cornfields near me. So as things were wrapping up I asked my pop if he would come out with my son and I to try out my airguns.
We grabbed a couple very old iPads (thought my son would get a kick out of putting some holes in them) and a whole bunch of sticky dots then headed out.
Got to the fields and set them up at 100 yrds. StrelokPro for the win! Perfect scope setting and needed no tweaks, first shot was 1/4” off on the 3” bullseye sticky. Good enough for this guy. We were using an Athlon 10-40 power and getting a good bead on the target was more than easy once they understood what an eye box/exit pupil was and how to line up in it. A little bit of explanation the effect of cant and my son was nailing that sticky like nothing. I had some great shots too. Can’t brag that we had moa at 100 but the gun was shooting very well. Could I have tuned it for better accuracy? Of course. Could we have had more fun? Nope! Great time with my young man and Grandpa.

This sticky actually stayed on long enough to collect a few shots.
Poor iPad didn’t stand a chance against these 37gr .25 cal zan slugs @ 900 fps. Right though it for the most part.
