We have all three red, big red and gray. They all choose to live in my trees. They will get them back again someday.
The little red squirrel danced across the roof one more time this morning. First he woke me up by dropping a walnut on the deck. So of course I tried to sneak him, He is the wind.
However, he did wake Penny up, so I put her out on the steps. Again Mr. squirrel drops another walnut on the deck just as I’m dozing off. Penny is on the other side of the house, so she has no clue. So I go for the window. He of course jumps on my roof and runs across again. This time he is met full on by my barking dog. She went absolutely nuts. And he leapt off the roof. I have to say quite entertaining.
Remember, it’s a pass fail system, and the semester is not over. There is no grading on the curve.

I just walked outside right at dusk, and he was barking and heckling me. I didn’t have my shootin iron.

The big red I was referring to are fox squirrels. Huge compared to red squirrels. Significantly larger than gray.![]()

I got him out the window with the 28 gauge this morning. He was in mid air jumping from tree to tree, One shot swinging offhand. And no that’s not some kind of a Airgun, so I won’t be posting a picture.
