A real working Frankenstein

Well, the rifle that you are looking at, was the first set of .25 Cal Evanix made, and by demand of an air rifles store in Monterrey, Mexico.

I was able to ask the total lenght and power I wanted the rifle to have. Evanix replied that those 25 Cal rifles were only going to be sold in México..... Well, it was not the case at all.

Along time I have made some changes on it. Now it has a FX smooth twist barrel and a 700 cc bottle.

This rifle is not just SUPER accurate at 100 yards and above, it is very easy to adjust power in a wide range and just with the hammer spring and it is very easy to change o’rings when needed. I adjusted the trigger to what what I wanted.

Since I bought this Evanix I have also bought respectable .25 pcp’s (Daystate, Airgun Tecnology, Brocock, JKhan) all of them very good rifles.

That Evanix is still a favorite. This rifle just works as it it is expected. A non regulated rifle that has, at least, the same accuracy than a Daystate Huma regulated rifle and/or an Airgun Tecnology Vulcan 2.

A real living Frankenstein !!!!:

Emu,

Thanks for posting, I've a question about the AGT Vulcan 2 and you're the only member I know who has one. Krales, in the Netherlands, recently dropped the price on some older Vulcans, the only one of interest was a Vulcan 2 .30 for $1178. On the Krales website, clicking on this gun reveals a 2018 sales promotional video, as well as information on upgrades over the original Vulcan, like air tube, trigger and barrel. Not a fan of bolt action nor wood stocks, I'd only be interested if the price were to drop considerably. Please share your thoughts regarding the Vulcan 2. Thanks, WM

This is my. 30 Vulcan 2.

It is a super rifle, doubless. I changed the regulator for a Huma one.

I have taken javalina, coyote, fox, ringtail, jackrabbits, rabbits, squirrels, and many hunting birds with it.

In my opinión for every purpose the Vulcan 3 is a better rifle because of power and shot count.

Emu,

Thanks, appreciate the input. I'm awaiting the arrival of the synthetic V3 Long .30 and am interested in what the new Uragan 2 has to offer. Was surprised to see your synthetic (adjustable) stock, side-lever Vulcan 2, I didn't even know they came in this configuration. I'd be more interested in a Vulcan 2, in this configuration, than the one shown on the Krales website. Either way, it'd be crazy to pay $1178 for a Vulcan 2 when the Vulcan 3 is just a few hundred more. The asking price of over $1,000 each for the several original Vulcans also seems odd since the platform is now in a third upgrade. Thanks again for sharing, WM
