A quick preview of the 3 for 1 shot on pigeons

Just a quick preview of three pigeons shot with one pellet from my FX Crown.

I dropped by one of my permissions yesterday afternoon for a quick shoot and it turned out to be a very memorable day for me.

@kgphotos. Thank you. My first 3 for 1 pigeons. I have done starlings before. Lucky shot; hard to miss with them lining up like that.

Once I have a little more oooph behind my pellets I should find a lineup like that. Well done.

@JungleShooter. Thank you. I was cheating with that shot. Pretty big target to miss lol. Glad it turned out the way it did and these three pigeons were taken by the eagles after I left them on the roof.

I don’t understand how you can say it’s a 3 from 1 pellet when you had to take the third one out with another pellet. Shouldn’t this be a 2 from 1 shot. Just asking because I don’t get it.

He did state 3 shot with one pellet.

@Plinker1962. Three pigeons were shot with one pellet. First two died almost instantly, but the 3rd one which was the first pigeon that took the pellet first. The pellet didn't hit its vital so he was injured and I had to take a follow up shot to finish it.

So still a triple hit with one pellet. Thanks Glenroiland.

Got it! I was under the impression that all 3 had to be a fatal shot with one pellet. Now I know.
