A question for those of you that hunt squirrels in the woods

If you were closer, you could hunt at my place, I've got enough squirrel to go around.
Have you considered the onX hunting app?
A deer hunting buddy showed it to me. The paid version shows land boundaries which is super helpful in finding/knowing you're on public land. For instance we used it to find Corps of Engineer land to hunt on. It also can breadcrumb your track among many other features.
I just tried it last season, I'm definitely buying it this coming season. I think it's $18-20.

I like illuminate scope that have just a red dot in center.

Haven’t used the illumination for squirrels but also haven’t taken a raccoon without it. I don’t have NV so it’s been a must for night ops.

I use the leapers bugbuster and it does fine seeing them without lumination. I also have a Vortex Diamond back that is great for low light.

A little advice...make sure to hit the squirrel in the kill zone....if you wound it it'll scream like a baby and usually girls are turned of by that
