A question about regulators and fill pressure

This is strictly for empirical data and no proposal for experimentation. From my understanding the 3000 psi fill pressure level is to prevent the PCP valve from locking up; so if a regulator is installed can the same gun with 3k fill level be filled to a higher pressure?

Very good question! They test the cylinders to well beyond 3k psi.

I have a regulated FX Gladiator MK II. The regulator was installed by the guys at AoA and was told it was ok to fill to 250bar, 30 bar more than the max pressure listed on the side of the breach block of the rifle.
