A pine cone at 270 yards!

As an old friend of mine used to say - no guts not glory, so let the lead fly!

Frankin, If Tom said he could hit a pine cone at 270Y every time and that it was easy I'd have a big question mark but that's not what he's presented here. He was just excited that it happened and wanted to share that personal victory.

I'd say many of us have had those super cool shots that everything went just right and we threaded the needle, it happens. Heck I hit a steel at 2356 yards during an ELR match on the first try, yeah there was a lot of luck involved but this kind of stuff happens. The other part is that I had the, exact distance, the DA, somewhat good dope, a precise rifle, and everything else that promotes success.

He measured POI from the previous shot, adjusted POA, let the lead fly, and hit the pine cone, fun stuff and certainly not beyond probability especially if his rifle is as precise as 1.5 moa.
