The Winchester 4x32AO scope just barely fits in place in the 160 Pellgun with the Ron Robinson mounts. But the scope adjusts down to 15ft, then 30ft (5yds & 10yds, respectively). So It should turn out to be a better scope for low to mid-power air rifles. Like the 160/167/180/187, 760 series, etc.
Started polishing the various parts of the Archer XP-Tuned gas valve assembly. If it ever stops being dark and rainy, I'll get part two of the gas valve upgrade & test done. I'm working on it as the sky clears up now and then. As can be seen, the valve stem has some scratches around it I tried to smooth out a bit. Besides polishing the metal a little here and there.
I got the new XP-Tuned valve from Archer installed and the rifle reassembled. I'm giving the bluing touch-ups one more day to cure. Then reinstall the scope and see if the idea for the Caldwell Chrono's will work to test it.
