On my way to the Piggly Wiggly today , I saw a Kestrel up on the power lines, about 1/2 mile from my place. There were a few cars behind me so I didn’t stop to try to get a picture.
Glad to see the little raptor looking for prey in my neck of the fields. Hopefully he will live up to the other name Kestrels go by: sparrow hawk.
