A Little Relief from Inflation

I have seen a number of threads recently where folks were upset with the rising costs of everything in general and shooting airguns in particular. I just wanted to share some really great news.

Not only has NSA provided free shipping for all orders of $150 or more, but they have significantly cut the price on their 177 Cal slugs. I have spoken at great length on various threads about how much I love the 12.5 gn 177 cal slugs. They work like magic in my AT44 and I have been more than happy with them. NSA has dropped the price of their 177 Cal slugs from $21.99 to $14.99! That comes out to less than 4 cents per slug!

I quickly ordered 8 boxes in 177 and 2 more in 22. They just arrived on my doorstep and the packaging was fantastic.

Please note that this price decrease only appears to be on the 177 Cal slugs, everything else was the usual price. There was no mention on the site that this was a sale so I have no idea how long they will be at this price.

We are transitioning our box counts so we can get our price per box more in line with our competitors like JSB, H&N, etc. We have high number of slugs per box but at $21.99 retail cost. We are adjusting our slug per box counts so that our price will be more inline of other slug manufactures. $15-19/box. In many cases we will be less cost per box and still have more slugs.

We believe too many people buy a box of ammo based on how much a box of ammo costs and not realize we have so many more slugs per box. So now we are lowing the number of slugs in the box so we can get the box cost down. We tried to keep the cost per slug about the same as the $21.99 box so it does not end up being more expensive for the community. It is not a perfect science but we tried to keep the pricing as close a possible per slug.

The 17 cal will be the price you see, it is not a sale.

We invested in equipment to lower costs which we are trying to pass on to the air gun community.

Thank you so much for what you do for the airgun community! Your products are fantastic and are always the first thing I try in an airgun to see if they will shoot slugs. I have generally found that if they don't shoot NSA slugs well, then it's probably best to stick with pellets in that particular airgun. In addition, the variety of diameters that you offer for 22 is the best I've seen and really makes it possible to find something that works in guns that I otherwise would have given up on with respect to slugs.
