I am so jealous. Nobody even returns my phone calls from dairies and farms
I live in the bay area so everyone is a total animal loving tree hugger. They will just let the birds disease thier animals and eat all thier profit.

Raden1942, have you tried knocking on some doors? Dress normally, not in hunting clothes, and politely ask if you can take pest birds with an airrifle. I have only been turned down once or twice and I have knocked on a lot of doors. Give it a try. Scott

I called first on a few and asked a couple people in person while buying fruit from them. One guy complained about the squirrels eating his profit but kindly refused my offer. I should dress nicely and walk down the street with all the small vineyards in Napa. Good idea. Maybe it's the ambiguity of a phone call that's been my problem.
