Just threw some lead across my Chrony for the first time from my new RAW HMx 1000x .357 (130 ft-lbf regulated). Shooting JSB 81.02 gr (actual weight 80.66 avg) @ 814.8 fps (avg), I'm getting only 118.89 ft-lbf. Not exactly as advertised.

Give it some time to break in, 500-1000 rounds then revisit the chrony. Is it accurate? What will an extra 12fpe gain you? What will you be hunting with it that needs more than 118fpe?

Eleven foot pounds below advertised power? That's significant. I'd be a little disappointed too. But I'd hesitate to allow my disappointment to sink very deeply until I made a call to RAW first.

Have you talked to Martin or Sandra yet? That 130 ft-lbs is based on which pellet?
Also consider this, suppose a rifle is advertised at 50 FPE, and you go to shoot, and you get 45.5FPE. Not such a big deal - that's roughly the same percentage you're getting here.
Lastly, how many shots on how many fills did you take to get that average? Were you filling to absolute max?

Naturally. But that will change back & forth a bit from day to day right?
You likely do not have a "2nd stage " only trigger, yup. Yours would be the first ever shipped that way.
You cant see how anyone could ship a rifle with a match trigger set at a match weight, huh.
You "can" ( but many would shoot it a bit ) turn up the hammer, can also adjust reg, heck their are folks with crazy valve mods in them making huge power which you could follow,
if you would let people help you.
Try to enjoy your airguns and just how good life is.
