I'd eat a batch of those countryside birds in a heartbeat, as they eat a way better diet than their city-living counterparts. I've also read that pigeon is indistinguishable and as good as dove and similar game birds when cooked.

Coyotes have very thin skulls, head shots, one and done with almost anything. Got this from a vet interview so YMMV.
