Pretty much you find what you think that gun shoots best .. then for me its "i dont mind a pellet picky gun as long as it picks cphp.". Then some are snobbish and swear fancy mail order pellets are g0ds gift to air guns.. in the end only you know what works best in your gun.. just buy and try draw your own conclusion. That just a part of the fun..

With that it may help you guage / select a pellet to try a strong Gamo springer may hurl them 18+ grain pellets with not so much a mortor trajectory afyer so many yards.. but still the 95 shoud do with them to a point .. i think imho hang out around 15 +/- grain stuff

Love my 95 .22. Also love my Airmax scopes and own 7 of the standard ones. I started getting familiar with this rifle yesterday evening, shooting several rounds with the open sights. The first thing that I noticed was the weight...it's a lot lighter than I expected and should be no problem to carry strolling through my woods. I have shot a friend's HW35 in .177 caliber a few times and I immediately noticed the increase in power. Also, I realized rather quickly that this rifle (and I) will benefit greatly from a scope.
And, that skank of a starling that I was able to draw a bead on didn't even twitch after being smacked.
I checked the trigger pull and it breaks pretty cleanly at an average of 2lbs.

This rifle is the one that Mustafamalikzada had in the classified. After contacting him, we game to an agreement and it now has a new home.
The serial number dates it made 2016 and he stated that it has around 500 shots fired through it.
Another question that I have for you experienced springer owners is this...When should I disassemble the power plant for inspection, cleaning, lubing, etc.?
Or should I even be considering that if the rifle is performing well?

If you think you have a issue ( inconsistent shots, weird noises, ) or just to do a clean and inspect . Then that kinda comes in if somthing seems or feels off somehow.. being if that low a shot count may need nothing unless you just feel you want to do the clean and fresh proper relube . Sometimes the factory lube job can be lacking or sloppy ..
I guess id say a judgment call on how you feel about it

I just bought an R9 in .177, have less than 50 pellets thru it and so far very impressed. I own more expensive under levers but enjoy this gun as well. Anticipated barrel droop so invested in a one piece compensated barrel droop mount and guess what? Too much elevation, have to bottom my Hawke Airmax out to shoot at 50 yards. Apparently no barrel droop on this one and will be going back to my favorite Sports Match rings. Thais quality!
