Just funnin ya, I'm jealous, I just bought my first HW...it's the 50s I couldn't afford the Cadillac of the HW's I think you are going to be very happy with that rifle.

The rate hw prices are going up they just about priced me out . I was looking over at krale and jaw dropped from prices just a month or less ago. I was about ready to drop on a hw 85 , well not no more.. keep it.... Lol

It may not be a Cadillac but its at the bare minimum a fully loaded Toyota Corolla. It's small, has everything you would want, and still performs better than you need it to. As an added bonus they're insanely reliable.

Keep your .22s light and in the H&N camp... adjustable mounts to compensate for barrel droop.. between those two, you'll be okay a fair ways away..

Tracking shows the rifle arriving late Wednesday afternoon. A tin of JSB 15.9 pellets was included in the sale. Those will be my first pellets to try through the rifle. I will shoot iron sights first to get a feel for the rifle and, because I don't have a scope for it as of yet.

Oh ya, definitely tell that ol girl was road hard and put up wet.. heck may as well relabel it with my address send it on and ill properly dispose of it , and ill do it for free. No charge.. heck ill even use that case as its coffin

Well, Hateful, I think when it gets here, I'll probably take that stock off and use it for firewood this winter and take the metal parts to scrap for a few bucks.
That way I'll be able to get some use out of it.

Nothing wrong with that and a case to boot. Mine came with that same style stock which is now carefully wrapped, double boxed and stored safely away.
