A Fly with the IZH46M

I was in the garage shooting the IZH46M at 10 yards, sitting, offhand.
All of a sudden a large fly landed on my target.
I loaded a 7.0 RWS Wadcutter and, with open sights, squeezed one off.
No fly.
I got up and he was fluttering on the shelf where the target was pasted.
I cut his right wing off.
I caught it in a jalapeño jar.

You should have taken a follow up shot and ended it's misery.

i have the same gun , wonderful to shoot , mine is a 46 no M a bit shorter cylinder so about 20 FPS lower .
