Infestation more like the invasion lol. Dang 2 hours that is some serious shooting right there.

How were you able to keep them from flying out after the shooting began or were there just that many pigeons. Bill

We cheated is was a huge horse stable I had them take all the horses out in the dark.And shut the doors and the few that flew out I shot off the top of the stable after we took care of the ones inside.

Well that is not cheating in my book I call that smart particularly when the goal is to eliminate them all. In my night time starling shoots I am still working on getting the farmers to turn off all the lights in the building if possible, that way the birds will be more reluctant to fly off in the dark. Do you eat them? If not you really should. They are excellent. People rave about dove but turn their nose up at pigeons. Genetically very close and they're eating the same stuff around farms. I wouldn't eat a feral from Chicago underpass but on a dairy farm in wi they are one of the best tasting birds we hunt
