a couple of ??s on the RWS 34

1st let me state; i had my RWS 34 tuned by M.M. and i have only shot about 50-75 pellets through it, prior to having it tuned, i shot several hundred.

? #1 - i'd like to have the muzzle threaded for a moderator, but the barrel is already long enough. is the barrel choked? if not, can it be shortened 4", re-crowned, and then threaded?

? #2 - will shortening the barrel 4" cause the piston to slam too hard at the end of it's cycle?

? #3 - i'm guess i'm spoiled with shooting a ruger mini 14 for work. the trigger has little take up and then a very nice crisp snap. i've tried to duplicate this by adjusting the TO6 trigger, but it's still not any better than the stock trigger on my NP2. mushy. what am i doing wrong and what is the easiest way to go about adjusting it?

thank you all in advance
