A Cast of Falcons

"Cast", of course, being the correct term for a group of falcons, here's what I currently have in the menagerie:

Falcon FN6, .177 calibre, Hawke RD30 sight, Parker-Hale silencer. This is a late model, evidenced by the single cocking bolt handle.

Falcon FN pistol with FN8 cylinder, FN12 barrel, .177 calibre, MTC Viper Connect 3-12x24 scope, Weihrauch silencer, custom straight trigger, custom brass bolt handle, customised FN12 beech stock (shortened forend, butt removed, grip reshaped, stained, oiled).

Falcon FN rifle with custom 11" cylinder, FN12 barrel, .177 calibre, Hawke Vantage+ 4-12x50 scope, Theoben Long Series Silencer, shortened FN19 walnut stock (stripped, stained, oiled). I'm waiting for a left-handed pellet probe for this one; switching the cocking handle to the other side too will only take about 10 minutes. My preferred rifle configuration is a left handed action in a right handed (or ambi) stock; I've always found it strange that a target shooter (which is what I am predominantly) would want to take their trigger hand off the grip between shots. With a left-handed action, I can cycle the weapon without taking my hand off the grip, nor my eye from the scope.

Falcon FN19, left-handed action, .22 calibre, Hawke Vantage+ 4-16x24 scope, custom brass bolt handle, custom silencer, Titan Manitou beech stock (stripped, stained, oiled).

Being a UK resident, the pistols are sub-6ft/lbs, and the rifles sub-12ft/lbs. All four are ridiculously accurate, and a joy to shoot. My Daystate Wolverine 2 hardly ever comes out to play at the moment.

Outstanding group! Heirloom quality from the good ole days.
I had a Beeman ( imported by and labeled as for three or so years right after Titan before Falcon) with a korik reg added, ball bearing trigger, shefeilf ( sp? ) stock, one of those I should have kept.
Personally I enjoy the older ones before the change in cocking/loading best. Those rigs will hold their own against anything made today, and they never had leaks .... from the factory at all, just outstanding QC.

Thanjks for sharing,

John

Thanks, guys, much appreciated. It's taken me a few months to get them all to (almost - just need to make the FN11 a left-handed action) the way I want them. Apart from the FN6, I built them all from parts sourced off Facebook and UK selling sites, and I also did all the stock modifications.
All of them are at least 20 years old, with a valve system that is exquisitely simple, yet breathtakingly efficient. Despite their age, they are all as devastatingly accurate as my 18 month old Daystate Wolverine 2C, but require more control to shoot because of the vast difference in weight. The Wolverine, for me, is the perfect benchrest rifle, but these Falcons are far more suited to wetwork in the field.
