Any opinions on a .22 rifle combo that comes with a decent scope? I would like to stay under $200. I know that at that pricepoint its gonna be slim pickins. Ready to dome some rabbit hunting.
Not for $200. All the low end springers are going to have issues and the scopes will be unuseable. Get a Crosman 2100 or Daisy 880 from Wally World (mine was $35) and a centerpoint scope. Yes I know its .177, it will do fine. Benjamin Maximus is $200 plus you will need a pump and scope, so not gonna work.
Maximus hunter come with a scope (6 power centerpoint). Use the coupon code and your below 200. Get a 30 dollar hand pump off Amazon and your basically 200 bucks total with a good shooting gun.
i got one of these on sale here for $119 - it started raining that day and i had went shooting. rather than get my nicer air rifles wet , i played around with the .22 gamo hornet maxxim (it was before they were including the automatic pellet loader , the swarm feature - but i'm not a fan of auto pellet loaders on break barrels that are single shot duns) . it's a good scope, good gun. 3 yr warranty. it broke in within 200 shots and using crosman premiers, it settled in at 760 fps and accuracy pretty good after breakin, too. it's a little lightweight because its pastic stock, but it seemed to be damn near weatherproof. it was a good deal for under $150 -- https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/gamo-hornet-maxxim-22-caliber-air-gun
